Saving Our Sons

The Columbia Urban League’s Saving Our Sons program is a Department of Public Safety funded program to decrease youth adjudication through the juvenile justice system. The Saving Our Sons program provides services to African American and other underserved male youth ages 10-17.

Saving Our Sons (SOS) is designed to improve communication skills, decrease negative behaviors at school and in the community, demonstrate positive life skills, and teach conflict management skills. Through these pillars, the League’s desire is to provide the necessary skills for young men to have a better future and be a change in their community.
